t is the “Adult Playground” so you would think it would come with a map of attractions like Disneyland or Magic Mountain. Well it doesn’t, but we can help.
Don’t Let All the Lights Fool You
Las Vegas isn’t really all that big – it’s spread out, but population-wise it is a medium sized city (a little less than 2 million in the greater Las Vegas area including North Las Vegas, Henderson, Green Valley, and Summerlin). And if you’re here on vacation chances are you will be spending the majority of your time either on the Strip or Downtown, which is only about 10 minutes from the strip.
What You’ll Find Here

Get an overview of the World Famous Strip and some of the attractions and shows there and a few general tips on things like how to get to and from the airport, making sure cabbies aren’t overcharging when you’re traveling between the Strip and Downtown, and prices for other transportation like shuttles or limousines:
• Fremont Street - The Fremont Street Experience, gambling, entertainment options, free attractions, bars and nightlife.
• Hotel Guide - Downtown and Strip Hotels, how to save money, what’s up with the prices, off the Strip hotels, accommodations available at some of the hotels, and which hotels appeal to who.
• Tips - cabs, limos, shuttles, how to get to and from the airport, and other transportation hints, remote check-in, late check-out, tipping, what to wear, staying safe, and a bit of movie trivia.
• The Strip – gambling, entertainment, nightlife, different shows, and more.
Getting Lost in Vegas
Part of the charm of this fine city is you can find yourself just about anywhere (at any hour day or night) and everything will be open, and there will be more to do than you could fit in a day. So do you really need a guide? Well maybe not, but there are some specific attractions you should take the time to see, and it is always nice having a general overview of what you plan on doing before becoming distracted by what Vegas has to offer. Just try to make it back to the airport in time... or stay, we’re happy to have you.
